He was elected Pir Pagara in the meeting of Khalifas of Hur community.Sukkur: Pir Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi commonly known as 'Raja Saein', the eldest son of Late Pir Mardan Shah, has been made new spiritual leader of Hur community on Thursday.

Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi is the 8th Pir Pagara. He was elected Pir Pagara in the meeting of Khalifas of Hur community after the death of his father Pir Mardan Shah.

The decision was taken by Khalifas of Hur Jamaat from Pakistan and India, held in Pir Jo Goth who also performed 'Dastarbandi' of the successor.

The released fishermen left for Lahore from where they are to move to India via the Wagah border, a private news channel reported.

PESHAWAR : As militants increase attacks on civilians, volunteers are giving more blood to save lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Terrorism has furthered the habit of blood donation among the people, Dr. Muhammad Jamil, medical officer at Bannu District Headquarters Hospital, said. We have often been blaming the people for not donating blood even to their near and dear ones during routine operations, but they are readily donating it for victims of terrorist attacks.

PM’s contempt of court hearing adjourned till Feb 28

Supreme Court of Pakistan.ISLAMABAD: Resuming contempt of court proceedings against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday, the Supreme Court directed PM’s counsel Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan to submit complete evidence to the court by February 27, DawnNews reported.

A seven-member bench, presided by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, was hearing the case.

Initially, Attorney General (AG) Maulvi Anwarul Haq presented attested copies of the NRO verdict to the court and other documentary evidence against the PM.
