Saftar Sarwar is a committed investment professional who is now actively involved in running and managing his own wealth management and advisory business: Kingdom Capital Partners LLP, with an office in Edinburgh and London. Saftar has around 20 years’ experience in banking and finance across numerous blue-chip firms. As well as this Saftar is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of a leading wealth management firm in the UK.

He has a degree in Economics and a postgraduate qualification in Accountancy as well as numerous professional financial qualifications. He is a regular lecturer on Finance at universities, such as Edinburgh and Cambridge. In 2008 he won a national award for his investment advice and strategy, out-performing many of his peers.

His key role within his business is to manage and advise on investment portfolios across different investment product areas, to engage with the Muslim (and Asian) business and professional community across the UK. Ultimately to provide a complete first class wealth management service for UK as well as international clients. He is also actively involved in the Islamic Finance side of the business and is a key player in the growth of that sector across the UK. He is a committed investment professional with excellent knowledge across investment markets and banking. He is the investment professional of choice for many wealthy Asian families in the UK and increasingly in the Middle East.

Saftar is British born with a strong Pakistani background. He enjoys spending time at the gym and is increasingly active in politics for the Conservative Party. He is a member of the Conservative Muslim forum (CMF). He is a committed professional who thinks that the Pakistani community should aim high to achieve their goals and have a complete focus on education and development. He mentors small businesses in Edinburgh and London. His next step is to further develop his business focus into the Middle East and grow slowly but steadily.
