Akhtar Mahmud Faruqui is the editor of Pakistan Link. He served as Assistant Editor Dawn Pakistan's leading daily, before taking over as editor of Pakistan Link. He has rendered editorial services to the United Nations International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste Italy, and the Third World Academy of Sciences founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Abdus Salam during 1986 and 1988-89.
Mr Faruqui has contributed papers to prestigious UNESCO multilingual journals including Impact of Science on Society and UNESCO Courier and written for publications of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
He has also edited proceedings of several international conferences sponsored by the Canadian International Development Agency, ICTP, and others. Mr. Faruqui holds a Master's degree in Journalism.
