Daniyal Aziz, who was born on February 25, 1965 in Lahore, is currently a member of the National Assembly affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz. Previously, he was a member of the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and had been elected as a member of the National Assembly in 1997 from the NA-116 (Narowal-II) constituency and again in 2002.
An articulate and bright, Daniyal aziz has also previously served as the chairman of the National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB), an institution of the Government of Pakistan where he was extremely active. His invaluable input at the bureau has won him many friends in the establishment. He was also awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for his Public Service.
A businessman and agriculturist by profession, Daniyal Aziz is son of self-made political heavyweight Anwar Aziz Chaudhry, who had served as the federal Minister for food and belongs to a Gujjar family of Shakargarh.
Daniyal Aziz is not only hardworking he has proven as ambitious too. Having spent several years jetting between the USA and Lahore, he finally decided to enter into the local politics of Tehsil Shakargarh. He has been member of the District Council Narowal from 1991-93. His decision to join politics was a result of his close ties to his father.
Daniyal Aziz completed his education from Boston University, USA and has travelled extensively across different regions including USA, Europe, and Asia.
Married with a son, his hobbies include hunting and riding.
