Mian M. Khurram Shahzad, MD was born in 1978 in a village (Chak # 77/P), district Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. He moved to the United States in his 10th grade and graduated from Edison High school in 1996. He then completed a two year course in Chemistry and graduated with honours.

Dr. shahzad then was accepted by the famous school, Rutgers, the state University of New Jersey, where he majored in Biology and Psychology.
 
He then was accepted in a medical school, and graduated in New York City as an M.D. (Doctor of Medicine). Dr. Shahzad then completed four year training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the State University of New York, where he graduated with Excellence in Gynaecologic Surgery.
 
Dr. Shahzad is currently teaching at the Baylor college of Medicine as an assistant professor of Obstetrics and gynaecology and working as a Research Scientist in Cancer Biology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer and the University of Texas, Houston, Texas, U.S.A.
 
He is Proud to be the son of Pakistan, and would love to return to serve his country and people, once his training in Gynaecologic Oncology is completed.
