Ghulam Nabi has run a highly successful accountancy business for over 40 years now but still finds time to devote considerable energy towards other activities. He was General Secretary of the Jamiat Ittihad-ul-Muslimin, which involved him in a lot of work for the community. In addition he is also the administrative head of Giffnock Islamic Society, Glasgow which works for the community's religious service and education. The aim of the Society is to help and develop young generation's interest and attention toward developing a keen interest in our people and service to the community.
Mr Nabi believes that education of the young members of our community is one of the main goals of our society and that the only true way to progress is to ensure that your children become more educated and rounded individuals. Mr Nabi devotes much of his time to this work but is also a successful accountant.
He came to UK in 1972 to study and after qualifying in accountancy; he completed his articles with a firm of chartered accountants before forming his own company.
