There are no professions that one can think of where Pakistanis have not become involved and particularly the last couple of decades have seen a marked shift within the children of the earliest migrants now occupying important and prominent positions within the professions.
One such success story is Mohammed Nawaz Haq who was born in Livingston, Scotland. Nawaz studied at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, and after graduating in 2001, he joined International Property Advisers, GVA Grimley, in Glasgow. He studied for a further two years whilst working there and gained his professional qualification to become a Chartered Surveyor.
Nawaz recently joined Culverwell Property Consultants and now works in Edinburgh. He is a Chartered Surveyor who specialises in commercial property and has a great ambition to excel in his chosen profession.
Nawaz is anxious to build relationship with the British Pakistani Community throughout UK, particularly in Scotland, to ensure community benefit from his knowledge.
