A television director, producer and a businessperson from Karachi, Sultana Siddiqui is ranked as one of the top 100 business leaders of Pakistan. She is the Founder and President of HUM Network, Pakistan’s largest and fastest-growing entertainment broadcast station and recognized as one of the top 25 Companies listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange. HUM channels are viewed in over 30 countries around the world.

Sultana started her career as the first female producer at Pakistan Television (PTV) in 1974. She has received numerous awards including PTV’s 10 Years Best Producer 1987-1997 award, Woman of Vision award from Media Women Journalists and Publisher’s Organization, Hazrat Khadijat ul Kubra award from Federation of Business and Professional Women, Nigar Award, the most prestigious Film and Media Awards in Pakistan.

Her drama serial Zindagi Gulzar Hai, a critically acclaimed serial that has been praised for 'breaking the ice across the borders of Pakistan and India in current times' and has also produced children's television, musical performances, television films, serials and documentaries. Sultan’s work is well known for its attention to social issues and its focus on female empowerment and has represented Pakistan in numerous international workshops and seminars.

In recognition of her dedicated and outstanding services in the field of Art, the President of Pakistan conferred the Presidential Award of ‘Pride of Performance’ to Sultana Siddiqui in 2008. She became the first woman in South Asia to launch a television network, which she has run successfully since its inception. Under her direction HUM TV has received Pakistan's Lux Style Awards four years in a row.

A determined and resilient woman with outstanding leadership qualities, Sultana siddiqui has spoken on many local and international platforms, including the 2013 U.S. Islamic World Forum held in Doha, Qatar and the 2014 Women Leadership Forum held in Silicon Valley, California.

In 2014, Sultana Siddiqui was awarded the 'Leadership Award 2014' by CEO Club & Manager Today Magazine, recognizing her work as a 'true entrepreneur and leader of Pakistan who is steering the nation and nurturing the upcoming generation with hope and professionalism'. Sultana Siddiqui was also featured in the bestselling book, '100 Performing CEOs & Leaders of Pakistan'.

In January 2015, Sultana Siddiqui was recognized for the contribution to the entertainment industry with the he Scroll of Honour award at the 5th GR8 Women Awards held in Dubai. The awards ceremony is held every year by the Indian Television Academy to celebrate the contributions made by women in various fields, including art, cinema, environment, entrepreneurship and education.
